Green Motion will show a complete line of charging stations and software at the Geneva Motor Show. The company will introduce its new public charging station, the Network Two, which is the result of four years of experience in the electric mobility market.

For the third year since 2011 Green Motion, a Lausanne-based Swiss company specializing in charging systems for electric vehicles, will be unveiling its latest products at the Geneva Motor Show. The new model Network Two is designed to be used as part of a network and features cutting-edge functionalities such as the ability to regulate vehicle charging depending on the electrical network’s status and roaming between operators. This new model allows two vehicles to be charged at the same time using 3.7 to 44 kW AC power and supports all plug types on the market.

Its new anti-vandalism and weather-resistant design has been completely revised to reduce costs while improving its aesthetics. Users operate charging stations with an RFID card. New methods of operation and payment have also been added, such as the use of parking stubs, text messages or a PIN.

In the interest of sustainable development, the Network Two is made entirely in Switzerland.

Green Motion’s new 2013 line also includes private charging stations and DC quickcharge stations. Its network management software for stations has been enhanced and features new functionalities for operators and users alike, including the use of smartphones to operate stations.
