GetYourGuide: One million bookings per month

The last months were a time of continued growth, maturation and significant milestones for GetYourGuide:

• On 25 September, GetYourGuide crossed the threshold of 20 million tickets booked all-time on its platform.
• In August 2018, the company achieved over one million ticket bookings in a single month for the first time.
• Since August 2018, GetYourGuide’s new branded Originals tours have been booked thousands of times and achieved a high satisfaction rating of 4.7 out of 5.

The board is now strengthened with the appointment of Sharon McCollam. McCollam brings more than two decades of leadership experience to GetYourGuide’s executive team.

Ms. McCollam is a veteran of several publicly traded companies, having served most recently as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Best Buy Co., Inc. until 2016, where she oversaw Best Buy's ‘Renew Blue’ transformation.
