Fitaborate has developed a solution for working out from home. The start-up is the only Swiss company selected for the Seedcamp Week Berlin.

Seedcamp is a new kind of fund supporting start-ups from pre-seed and seed stage. The fund backs ambitious founders from around the world and helps them build global companies by providing them access at the right time to learning, network, and capital. Seedcamp invests initially up to USD250k and accelerates them across the product market fit, traction, growth, and scale stages from seed funding to IPO. Recently Seedcamp announced the selected start-ups for Seedcamp Week Berlin. Among the companies is one Swiss start-up: Fitaborate.

Fitaborate decribes itself as “the perfect solution for new and busy mums to work out from home.” With fitaborate users can work out from the comfort of their own home for free choosing from a curated selection of top fitness videos. Alternatively, they can have a live online personal or group workout with the best fitness instructors in the world.

Through fitaborate’s exclusive integration with wearable devices working out from home is becoming trackable by displaying all key fitness metrics live on screen (heart rate, calories burned) while working out. “From Techcrunch Disrupt to the Websummit, to being a finalist in Seedcamp Berlin we are all over Europe testing our product and meeting great people”, comments co-founder Katerina Douzina.

The beta version of fitaborate will be launched shortly. In the meantime free workout sessions can be started at www.fitaborate.com.

During Seedcamp Week the Swiss start-up will present fitaborate to the Seedcamp investors and 120 mentors, advising in their areas of expertise; from Product to Finance to Marketing and beyond.
