DemoSquare anticipates regulatory changes thanks to AI

DemoSquare, a pioneer in the realm of public-affairs management, has secured a Digital Seed loan of 50,000 Swiss Francs from FIT. Facing the challenges of time-consuming and error-prone legislative monitoring, DemoSquare introduces a SaaS platform that aggregates data from governmental and media sources. Using an advanced AI pipeline, DemoSquare automates reporting and predicts vote outcomes, which allows public-affairs teams to discover impactful pieces of legislation before anyone else, to develop data-supported strategies and lines of arguments, and to report their progress to top-level executives effectively. DemoSquare enables to reduce monitoring costs by 80%.

The public version of DemoSquare improves democratic transparency by making political data accessible to citizens, journalists, and NGOs. The start-up recently collaborated with Le Temps and the NZZ (Neue Zürcher Zeitung) for the federal elections of October 2023 and predicted party results with less than 1% of error. DemoSquare plans to expand into the European Union in 2024.
 
StudyBud provides tailored learning support

Addressing the pressing need for tailored learning support, StudyBud has received a Digital Grant of 20,000 Swiss Francs from FIT. With a mission to reduce the alarming university dropout rates, StudyBud's comprehensive online learning platform matches students with ideal tutors based on various variables. The platform also serves as a marketplace for personalized learning materials.

The FIT Digital Grant will be instrumental in redeveloping StudyBud's platform and expanding its reach to European, American, and Asian markets. The funds will support team expansion and enhance technological capabilities for sustainable growth.
 
Me Uni - discover universities in the metaverse

Tackling the challenges of expensive international travel for university tours, Me Uni introduces a 24/7 one-stop global university exposition and campus tour platform within the metaverse. With its innovative platform, Me Uni has secured a Digital Grant of 20,000 Swiss Francs from FIT. This platform connects universities with students, parents, and visitors globally, overcoming financial and time constraints. The platform boasts cross-platform compatibility, accessible via mobile devices, desktops, and VR headsets and can be rapidly replicated to accommodate diverse locations.

The FIT Digital Grant will contribute to Me Uni's market entry, and software maintenance, fostering its expansion into several countries.
