swissnex India invites Swiss startups to participate in the next edition of Fintech Startup Tour in India from January 29 to February 2, 2018. Selected startups will visit Bangalore, the technology hub and Mumbai, the financial capital of India to unravel the potential of India’s Fintech sector.

In collaboration with CTI Market Entry and Gebert Rüf Foundation, Swissnex India is again organising a business trip to Bangalore and Mubai for ten selected Swiss fintech startups. During the five days, participants will spend with the swissnex India team as they get immersed into the fast-growing space of Fintech in India by understanding more about the current trends, particularities of the environment and acquire expertise on Indian business culture.

They will learn from banking and financial institution experts such as Citi Bank, Yes Bank, Axis Innovation Lab and meet Fintech startups such as Zestmoney, Razorpay and meet the members of startup communities at Rise Accelerator. Also meetings with potential local partners have been organised.

“At swissnex India we pride ourselves in tailoring our programmes to our stakeholders – this means we will support you in arranging meetings with key individuals helping your progress as well as invite you to relevant visits to institutions and events. Furthermore, we will help you understand the Indian business culture and specifics of the local rules as well as regulations in the financial market”, as stated by Swissnex India.

Eligible to apply are individuals working on Analytics & Data Science, Investment Management & Banking Infrastructure, Payments, Deposits & Lending or Blockchain & Crypto – whether you are an entrepreneur, researcher or investor working with Fintech in Switzerland. Startups or individuals interested in the program have the opportunity to meet Prateek Khare from swissnex India, at Swiss Startup Days in Bern on 25 October 2017.

The entire program is free of charge including local transport and site visits during the days of the program. Participants will take care of their flight, accommodation, visa and their insurance coverage.

CTI startups may be eligible for a one-time travel stipend from the Gebert Rüf Stiftung for up to 2 people.

Application deadline will close on 10th December.
