Following the unfortunate passing of Ecorobotix’s CEO, Simon Aspinall, the company’s board has named Aurélien G. Demaurex as the ad interim CEO. The new CEOs at Antion Biosciences and obvioTec AG and the newly appointed chief commercial officer at Nanoive are also not new in the startup scene.

Aison’s funder takes on a new role as Co-CEO
Sophia Borowka, co-founder and CEO of aiSon Technologies, the startup that makes sonography easier by designing tools that accelerate ultrasound procedures and make interventions and diagnostics more accurate, has embarked on a new journey as co-CEO at the 2018 founded company obvioTec AG. This move comes after the company reduced its size due to the challenging economic environment of the past year. Sophia and her team had obtained the CE certification for their medical device, the aiSon FOCUS, the world’s only adaptive ultrasound pad on the market today. During its active operational years, the company continued to grow its customer base, which it will continue to serve on a small scale. Sophia is now taking on a new challenge in deep-tech startup obvioTec AG. “Being both Co-CEOs, my colleague Kaspar Widmer Cantz and I lead a modern company culture by setting a first example. Such a co-leadership is not possible in just any pairing. You have to complement each other, have a similar mindset, values, and, most importantly - the same goals. I look forward to helping both companies grow”, said Sophia in her LinkedIn post. obvioTec AG developed technology to improve pharma quality control and detect fake drugs.
