F10 Switzerland announces the Zurich cohort

Actesy, Art Recognition and Sustema from Switzerland are among the 12 growth-stage startups joining the F10 Accelerator program in Zurich focusing on Sustainable Finance and SME Services. The 3-month program will facilitate successful collaborations with F10 corporate partners.

The F10 Incubator & Accelerator Zurich attracted 384 applications globally for the upcoming program kicking off on 6th September. Originating from Germany, the USA, the UK, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria and the Netherlands, the 12 selected startups develop solutions for various industries. The 3-month program will provide them with a platform to enhance their solutions and develop successful collaborations, implemented via a 360-degree startup analysis and an in-depth collaboration playbook facilitated by a dedicated F10 coach.

The cohort will also benefit from knowledge and experience exchange with corporate partners in addition to lifetime access to the F10 Startup Services. These include flexible, on-demand content spanning from the F10 Academy, online learning and peer to peer exchange based on startups’ needs. They will also participate in the F10 Mentor program, gain access to a network of more than 250 mentors across all hubs, and benefit from the F10 Investor Introduction Service.

The 12 selected startups are:
Actesy AG (Switzerland) – provides turnkey data solutions for executives and companies. Without requiring data science expertise, actesy enables companies to create cost and resources efficiencies, optimise processes and harness innovation.

Art Recognition AG (Switzerland) – developed an AI system to establish the authenticity of any artwork by analysing its photograph. The algorithm learns the main characteristics of an artist based on the pictures of their original artworks and can subsequently determine whether a submitted artwork is authentic or counterfeit.

Sustema (Switzerland) – analyses corporate behaviour using publicly available data to improve the underwriting performance of commercial insurers. The startup has to date shown loss ratio gains of 28% with customers in Switzerland, Germany, UK and the US in backtesting of their portfolios.

Divizend (Germany) –  developed Screener, the worlds first dividend calendar.  

Deedster (Sweden) – offers digital platform for corporate customers to engage their employees or customers in taking action in climate.

Urgentem (UK) – an independent provider of transparent emissions data and climate risk analytics for the finance industry.

Proof of Impact | POI (USA) built a digital impact data performance platform to uniquely offer collection, verification, analysis, and trading of impact data for the private market in the most reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient way.

SignD Identity (Austria) – With SignD Quantum, the startups offers an onboarding solution that allows customers to handle ten different  KYC, KYB, AML, PEP, Document, Identity, Open Banking technologies.

Weave.AI (USA) – employs advanced AI to automatically and transparently analyse and benchmark ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) disclosures and performance. Companies also employ Weave.AI to automate the end-to-end benchmarking and improvement of their ESG profiles.

SwIDch (UK) – aims to bring secure authentication to every digital identity, even in the off-the-network environment.  

Surfly (Netherlands) – is building interaction middleware that can share, secure and transform web experiences.

Konfuzio (Germany) – founded by Helm & Nagel, Konfuzio is an extensible AI end-to-end platform that enables Data Scientists to build AI pipelines on data in business documents.
