Several important awards are open for application. Start-ups can win substantial amounts of money, coaching and access to potential business partners.
- SAFT Startup Challenge
SAFT is a start-up challenge targeting entrepreneurs in the fields of smart cities, distributed generation, and energy efficiency. Up to five winning teams will be chosen by a jury of experts to take part in a month-long start-up boot camp in Zurich, a one-week international market expedition to Silicon Valley and three months of incubation at Impact Hub Zürich. One additional team will be nominated separately by Climate-KIC to join the cohort.
Deadline: 13 November 2015 - ZKB Pionierpreis
The prize money of CHF 31'415.92 (=10'000 × Pi) is awarded for outstanding pioneering technological projects at the threshold to market entry. The projects are characterized by innovative drive, proximity to the market and social impact.
Deadline: 15 November 2015 - IOT / M2M Innovation World Cup
The contest not only recognizes and honors new and innovative IOT / M2M solutions it additionally gives contestants the opportunity to win prizes worth more than $160,000.
Deadline: 15 November - IMD Startup Competition
The IMD Award provides an opportunity for regional start-up founders that require a fresh thinking to validate their business model by benefiting from the free-of-charge support of MBA and EMBA students in 2016.
