LBAir is a mobile phone detector payload specifically designed to be carried by micro UAV and small unmanned platforms. DFRC AG presented it during the 1st European Unmanned Search and Rescue End Users Conference.

The payload is capable to detect and locate mobile phones in three dimensions which are highly important during scenarios such as fires in high buildings, fire forests and other critical situations where fast detection of survivors is required in Search and Rescue missions. This lightweight payload (only 320 grams) can be easily integrated into any unmanned platforms such as fixed wing UAVs or unmanned ground vehicles.
