This year, several start-ups gained traction while others won significant cash prizes at competitions organised within and outside Switzerland. Even next year, several awards await start-ups; seize the opportunity and apply before the deadline passes.
The following awards await applications.

Selected start-up projects participate in a training series for 12 months and benefit from intensive support from mentors and experts with practical experience. The startup that wins the final pitch receives an investment of CHF 100,000 in exchange for a percentage of company shares offered by the startup.
W A de Vigier Foundation Startup Award: 04.01.2021
The Foundation provides financial to young entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas that want to start-up a business venture in Switzerland. Among other criteria, the award lays strong emphasis on the CEO’s personality. Five winners will each receive a CHF 100,000 cash prize.
World Tourism Forum Luzern (WFTL) Startup Innovation Camp: 04.01.2021
WTFL is offering start-up with a platform to develop and present new ideas and to promote new collaborations. During a 5-day innovation bootcamp, selected start-ups will work on strategies for the travel industry after the pandemic. The program evolves around themes: Adapt, renew and look ahead.
Prix Entreprendre Région Lausanne: 06.01.2021
Start-ups from the Lausanne region interested in participating in PERL should submit their application to win CHF 100’000 worth of prizes. Eligible to apply are start-ups that are already incorporated or plan to be.
BaseLaunch: 10.01.2020
Organised by BaselArea.swiss, BaseLaunch accelerator supports and accelerates the most promising and ground-breaking healthcare companies by offering them infusions of funds, industry access, insight and infrastructure. Winners receive up to CHF 500’000 in funding.
Venture Leaders Mobile: 24.01.2021
Ten selected start-ups will have the chance to attend a week-long business development program. The program includes workshops, pitching to investors and industry leaders, and participation in the Mobile World Congress.
Swiss Economic Award: 29.01.2021
The annual award recognises exceptional start-ups in three categories: “Services”, “High-tech / Biotech” and “Production/Trade & Industry”. During the award ceremony held at the Swiss Economic Forum, each winner will receive CHF 25’000 cash prize.
