Performance Buildings wins Swiss Cloud Award

Performance Buildings, a start-up from Zurich, takes idle or temporarily vacant office space, install automation hardware (eg door control, lighting, projectors, signage and WLAN) and make it available for self-service use via the cloud. Users reserve rooms via our booking engine, open the door and operate equipment, all via cloud services. The space can be converted over a weekend for renting by the hour, day or month, and pooled into the network for as long or short a period as the provider wishes. Performance Buildings automation makes such space extremely price competitive and easy to use.

The company, which was awarded the CTI start-up label in 2009, launched its offer called daycrun.ch a few weeks ago. The first office space that can be rented is in the heart of Zurich.

Now Performance Buildings won the Eurocloud Swiss Award. The Swiss Cloud Award is geared toward providers and customers of innovative cloud solutions which are currently active in the Swiss market. The Award showcases the achievements of Swiss cloud solution providers. A jury of EuroCloud Swiss members and a subject expert committee (government agencies, professional associations, universities and IT magazines) conducted the selection of the most innovative Swiss Cloud solutions according to specified criterias.
