SamanTree Medical, a medical technology company specializing in innovative solutions to improve cancer treatment, has appointed Olivier Delporte to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Olivier Delporte joins SamanTree Medical with a proven track record of leadership in the medical technology industry. Olibier brings over 22 years of experience driving growth and innovation of fast-growing companies across various therapeutic areas. He joins the company at animportant phase in SamanTree’s growth. The company is currently focusing on scaling commercial placements of the Histolog® Scanner in Europe and planning the US market expansion for 2024. The Histolog®Scanner has already been used in more than 2000 surgical procedures and the adoption is accelerating. As the new CEO, Olivier Delporte will be responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic vision and driving global expansion.

Salutacoach
Salutacoach, provider of personal online health coaching programs to optimise metabolic health has bid farewell to Lukas Zahner as CEO who will take on the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors, to accompany the start-up on a strategic level. His successor Angela Metzger has played a major role in shaping and advancing the company since her first day. She has grown incredibly quickly in her tasks, learned a lot and successfully mastered countless challenges in the process. Additionally, the startup from the University of Basel welcomed new members including Anja Amann who will lead the Operations and Corporate Health department.

Betterview
Michael Wendt is the new CEO at Betterview, the startup offers laser eye treatments at a fixed price. endt most recently served as CEO of bestsmile, but has accompanied betterview since its founding as an investor and advisor. In his new role, he will primarily be responsible for the areas of finance and HR, as well as the expansion of digital processes. As a new member of the management team, Michael Wendt will play a key role in the further development of betterview. The company offers laser eye treatments at a fixed price and has just opened its fifth clinic within a year. Under the leadership of Michael Wendt, David Holenstein and Rouven Mayer, betterview plans to further strengthen its market position and drive growth.

Klarpay
Klarpay AG has welcomed Markus Emödi to his new role as Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and Deputy CEO. With a track record of over 20 years in the financial industry, Markus brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Klarpay. Markus Emödi is a legal professional who has dedicated his career to compliance and risk management within the financial sector. His knowledge in regulatory areas such as anti-money laundering (AML), securities law, asset management, and payment transactions make him an invaluable asset to the Klarpay team. In his new role as the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, Markus will play a key role in driving Klarpay's operations forward and facilitating its continued growth trajectory. He will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing Klarpay's legal and compliance functions.

Bloom fills two executive positions
To support its fast growth, Bloom Biorenewables, the startup providing a novel, cost-competitive route to source molecules from plants, has appointed Ydna Questell-Santiago and Philip Sholten as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), respectively. Both Ydna and hilip have been part of the Bloom family last year supporting the company in its mission to provide unprecedented alternatives for many petroleum-based products technology. The startup’s co-founders and Florent Héroguel will also share the co-CEO position.
