Four Swiss startups have found new partners abroad to help them spread their wings worldwide t grow their market share. Fairtiq has remained in Europe, while Swissto12, Kooky and RoompriceGenie have gone to the US, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand. Astrocast’s solutions will be launched on Mouser Electronics, an industry giant’s platform accessed by customers in more than 220 countries.

Astrocast, a leading global nanosatellite IoT network operator, has signed a distribution agreement with industry giant, Mouser Electronics, a global distributor of semiconductors and electronic components, to stock and distribute Astrocast’s Satellite IoT (SatIoT) technology. Astrocast’s core technology – the Astronode S communication module and its patch antenna, as well as the Astronode S+, a ready-to-install satellite communication device – will be available to developers and Systems Integrators across the world via Mouser’s e-commerce platform, which boasts more than 6.8 million products from over 1,200 manufacturer brands. The distributor ships to over 650,000 customers in 223 countries/territories from its 1 million-square-foot.

Swissto12 enters two markets

SWISSto12 delivers RF cavity-based components, antennas, and antenna array solutions based on 3D additive manufacturing technology. Its unique and patented RF design, surface finishing and plating processes for the realisation of complex RF solutions, together with advanced RF designs, are deployed in Aerospace missions, including satellite communications, surveillance, and radar. The company has launched its US entity St12 RF Solutions Inc in Manchester (NH), which will collaborate with US partner Frontgrade Technologies to deliver complex differentiated RF solutions to the US Aerospace market to enable the next generation of critical systems and missions. Frontgrade Technologies is a leading provider of RF technologies and related mission-critical electronic solutions.

The company has also entered the Rurkish market through the collaboration with PROFEN, a Turkey-based provider of technology and Satellite Communication (SATCOM) services. The strategic partnership.

Kooky’s reusable system now in Saudi Arabia

In the effort to reduce waste, kooky has built the world's first self-operated digital reusable system for food packaging. Its service includes providing digital and physical infrastructure (license), operational processes, trainings, and support. Following its success in Europe, the startup is now bringing its solution to Neom, a planned smart city in Tabuk Province in northwestern Saudi Arabia. Noem will be responsible for operations, maintenance, washing facilities (HACCP), level 1 customer service, and emission-free logistics. Kooky and Neom will implement a system self-operated by local authorities and utilise existing resources, which will serve as a blueprint for municipalities worldwide.

Roomprice Genie – new partnership for dynamic pricing in New Zealand

RoomPriceGenie has found a partner in New Zealand for its dynamic pricing solution for hospitality businesses. Rooms Online Limited, which enables large or small accommodation businesses to improve their revenues, will help the startup grow in the New Zealand market with a unique total Revenue Management solution. Utilising RoomPriceGenie's technology and knowledge of pricing automation combined with the local expertise of Rooms Online Limited will scale the startup faster.
