RL Engineer - Robotic Manipulation

Flink Robotics is an early-stage ETH SpinOff dedicated to enabling flexible robotic automation for anyone, anywhere. Join our highly talented and motivated team to build the next generation of software intelligence that transforms any robot into a plug-n-play automation solution for material handling.

The Opportunity

As an RL Engineer - Robotic Manipulation you will play a crucial role in making autonomous robots a reality. This is your chance to apply cutting edge technologies to solve real world problems, achieving unprecedented reliability and robustness. You will join a fast-paced, goal-driven team of world-class experts in vision, control and artificial intelligence. As one of the first team members of a fast paced tech startup, you will contribute in shaping the future of our technological roadmap. With your work and vision, you will help advance the state of the art in robotics and how mechanical machines become intelligent and flexible workers for material handling.

Market and Technology

Flink Robotics transforms off-the-shelve robots into plug-n-play workers for material handling, introducing robots to logistics, retail, healthcare and many more dynamic spaces. We build software intelligence that transforms robots into intelligent beings that take simple instructions to perform complex tasks. Our technology gives robots the skills to work in dynamic environments and perform jobs that are dull, hazardous and down right boring. We deliver a high-quality software platform that upskills any combination of robotics hardware.

Your Contributions

Lead the design of novel reinforcement learning algorithms for manipulation
Develop reliable and robust manipulation controllers for complex industrial environments
Improve and maintain our control software stack, including our reinforcement learning framework and its associated tools
