This session hosts Lukas Langenegger, Co-Founder & CEO of Hemotune to share his tips and insights on pitching.

The series of six workshops is based on a mission and challenge approach to enhance the validation and execution of your business case. Our goal is to support the best startup talents in Switzerland in order to build world-class startups the fastest way possible.

Apply if you have an innovative startup project and the ambition to conquer the world. Students, doctoral candidates, postdocs or members of staff at ETH Zurich, or any other Swiss university carrying a solid high-tech startup project are also more than welcome to join the program. Speaker of the Night: Lukas Langenegger, Co-Founder & CEO of Hemotune
Langenegger is one of the founders of hemotune AG, a preclinical MedTech company developing breakthrough blood purification technology with a first application in septic shock. After completing a banking apprenticeship and working for UBS, Lukas decided to  study Chemical- and Bioengineering at ETH Zurich and MIT. hemotune originated from his PhD at the Functional Material Laboratory at ETH Zurich, from which it spun out in 2017. Since then, Lukas raised more than CHF 10 million, built up an interdisciplinary team of 20 people, and scaled up the technology to clinical prototype. With hemotune, he won some prestigious prices including the Swiss Technology Award 2020 and was named the TOP 1 Spin-Off by Forbes magazine in 2021.
