The Venture Briefing event series is designed to help students with an intent to pursue entrepreneurship take their first steps towards building a successful company. Lunch and "apero" are included in the event.

Christina Vallgren will be holding the event:

Christina Vallgren holds a PhD in Applied Physics from Chalmers University of Technology (2008-2011), which she obtained after her Master of Science from the same University. She worked for eleven years at the CERN, first during her PhD, then as Senior Research Fellow and finally as Staff Physicist, until the end of 2019. During her last three years of work at the CERN, she worked on and obtained her MBA at the Blekinge Institute of Technology. Once holder of this MBA, Christina decided to jump in an entrepreneurship journey and co-founded Terapet.

Terapet is a CERN MedTech spinoff that has developed an innovative platform technology for imaging in nuclear medicine, bringing proton therapy and nuclear imaging to the next level. Terapet develops, manufactures and sells medical devices for nuclear imaging. Their products will be used at hospitals, pharmaceutical industry, research centres and proton therapy facilities.

Christina will share her experience as en entrepreneur and will take the time to answer your questions during a Q&A session:

  • How to become an entrepreneur?
  • How to validate my idea?
  • How to finance my startup?
  • How to find help to bring my idea to life?

We will also present to you our different support programs:
