The Venture Briefing event series is designed to help students with an intent to pursue entrepreneurship take their first steps towards building a successful company. The event features an experienced entrepreneur from your region. This session will host Delia Herger.

Delia Herger completed her master in Business Administration at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and at the same time set up the start-up Jobeagle with her two co-founders Marco Pfefferli and Patric Steiner. With Jobeagle, the team wants to make the recruitment process for companies much more efficient and make job hunting more attractive for Generations Y and Z. With your app, talented people will soon be able to apply easily with a swipe, whereby matching with companies is not just about CV and certificates, but much more about the right skills and the right personality.

Cyrill Burch originally completed an apprenticeship as a bricklayer. During his studies in "Energy System Engineering" he became aware of many properties that did not have solar systems on the roof, although they were well suited. That's why he began to support the projects in an advisory capacity while he was still studying.

Manfred Meintjes began his career with an apprenticeship as a computer scientist and systems engineer. With a few friends he founded Laduma GmbH to develop websites. After this company began to share the smart-up office in Horw with Cyrill Burch, the joint project "zevvy" was launched.

The entrepreneurs will talk about their startup and share details about their journey building a successful company. They will also help answer some of your questions during the Q&A session:
  • How to become an entrepreneur?
  • How to validate my idea?
  • How to fund my idea?
  • How to find help to bring my idea to life?
You will also be introduced to different support programs available to new entrepreneurs:
  • Venture Kick (up to 150K pre-seed capital for business development)
  • InnoBooster (up to 150k grant to accelerate market entry)
  • First Ventures (financial support and tailored coaching program for University of Applied Science students)

Thank you to the Gebert Rüf Stiftung for supporting this event.
