Take a startup deep dive an join us for lunch! The Venture Briefing event series is designed to help students with an intent to pursue entrepreneurship take their first steps towards building a successful company.
***Note - as this is an event over lunchtime, we will offer food and drinks for all registered participants (free of charge)***
The event features a keynote speech from successful entrepreneur Frédéric Schuind, CEO and Founder of Spirecut SA.
About Spirecut: The Muttenz-based company's focus is the treatment of trigger finger and carpal tunnel syndrome, which affect one in seven in their lifetimes. With Spirecut's patented instruments, surgeons achieve greater accuracy, leading to better patient recovery and results. The company has been a 2021 winner of of Venture Kick, as well as of support by Innosuisse, swissnex, Switzerland Innovation, MassChallenge, Basel Landschaft, HEIA-FR, Innovate UK, Swiss Innovation Challenge, SITEM, Basel Area, and global nerve foundation.
Frédéric will talk about his startup and share details about his journey building a successful company. He will also help answer some of your questions during the Q&A session:

You will also be introduced to different support programs available to new entrepreneurs:
- Venture Kick: up to CHF 150,000 pre-seed capital for business development
- InnoBooster: up to CHF 150,000 grant to accelerate market entry
- First Ventures: up to CHF 150,000 financial support and tailored coaching program for University of Applied Science students
