Smart Energy Event

The rise in energy prices, linked to various geopolitical factors, has had profound repercussions in our society, accompanied by some questioning and new ways of doing or seeing things. At the economic level, this price increase has forced companies, but also energy producers and distributors to be inventive, in order to limit the increases or better serve their customers. The 13th edition of the Smart Energy Event, organized by The Ark Foundation and CleantechAlps, will highlight the new economic opportunities developed by players in the field as well as companies. New business models, new practices, new behaviours, in an energy world undergoing profound change: speakers will share their good ideas and their feedback.

The main conference on Friday morning will be complemented in the afternoon by the first edition of the Smart Energy Start-up Pitch Contest, a pitch competition for young companies from all over Switzerland. A pre-event will be organized on Thursday evening, with a keynote speaker and an evening of exchanges and networking.

One of the highlights of the event is the first Swiss pitch competition for start-ups in the energy sector. It will take place on September 1, during the Smart Energy 2023 event, the reference event in the field of intelligent energy management.

Three prizes worth a total of CHF 15,000 will be bestowed onto the winners.
