About the speakers

Regina Low - Executive Director, Singapore Global Network
Regina served in various policy, planning and operational roles in the public sector, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Development, the Ministry of Education and the Prime Minister’s Office in Singapore. She returned to Singapore after her postgraduate work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Sloan Fellow and member of the Fulbright program, where she focused on behavioural research and business analytics. She is now with the Economic Development Board as Executive Director of the Singapore Global Network, which builds communities and connections around the world.

Judith Häberli is co-founder and COO of Urban Connect
Besides being the co-founder and COO of Urban Connect, Judith is also an advisory board member of the Institute for Mobility at the University of St. Gallen. She holds a degree in economics from the University of Zurich and is the mother of three children. Judith was selected by BILANZ as Digital Shapers 2023 and is nominated for this year’s EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Urban Connect is Switzerland’s leading provider of sustainable and multimodal employee mobility, with corporate clients such as Lonza, Hilti, Google and Roche.

Katharina Pälchen, CTO, Fabas Foods GmbH
Katharina’s journey into the world of sustainable technology started with a deep love for food and nature combined with the desire to advance technology. She studied Food Science at the University of Wageningen and earned a PhD in Bioscience Engineering from KU Leuven. Her academic journey laid the foundation for her mission: bridging the gap between agriculture, food technology, innovation, and ecological responsibility. Since then, she’s been dedicated to finding technological solutions that address the challenges of achieving food and nutritional security, as well as sustainable agricultural development. Katharina currently leads the core product development at Fabas Foods GmbH. The company’s mission is to create a Swiss value chain for plant-based proteins by transforming pulses from the farm into tasty and nutritious foods. In her role, she’s driving the practical application of her passion for sustainability and technology to make a real impact.
