Innovation and growth with digital shares for SMEs

Swiss companies can now issue equity or debt securities digitally on the blockchain as ledger-based securities, a process commonly known as “tokenization”. Moving to digital shares has significant advantages, facilitating access to capital markets for start-ups and SMEs, as well as simplifying beneficial owner identification or the execution of certain corporate actions for companies.
