InCube Challenge Alpine Edition
ETH Entrepreneur Club invites students to register for the upcoming Incube Challenge. This year, the program will run in Switzerland in the Alps.
InCube Alpine Edition is an international competition, where students from a diverse background spend five days in a mountain hut to come up with innovative solutions to an entrepreneurial challenge.
The 2020 edition of InCube aims to accommodate participants in mountain huts instead of glass cubes. As part of the 5-day challenge, the participants must find a solution to a given problem and come up with an idea of a startup. In the end, the teams will pitch their solutions as businesses seeking investments in front of a jury. To succeed, the solutions must be inventive, solve a real problem and have a feasible business model. Our goal is to create teams of 5 students with different academic backgrounds and different profiles.
Each year, shortly before the InCube Challenge takes place, all participants come together in a preparatory event called OutCube.
At OutCube, all participants get acquainted and take part in team-building activities. Mentors, professors, and innovation specialists share their insights on topics like design thinking, pitching, rapid prototyping and business model development, through different tools and workshops. This enables participants to learn the essential skills to successfully solve their challenges during InCube.
