Biodiversity Digital Academy: Scaling up Swiss biodiversity startups
Launching this year, digitalswitzerland's biodiversity digital academy is born from the need for more digital solutions being implemented at greater scale to address the challenges in biodiversity that go far beyond the established instruments of carbon credits.
In a cohort of experts and early-stage entrepreneurs, know-how and network can be built at the forefront of an upcoming issue.

2023 Program: 6-month academy begins in May and concludes in December
Throughout the biodiversity digital academy, we offer the opportunity to be mentored by an experienced leader from within digitalswitzerland's network.
From June to November, we provide exclusive inspiration events to provide deep expertise to the cohort from digitalswitzerland's members, partners, and international network
Eligibility criteria:
- Company founded in accordance with Swiss law within the last ten years
- Operate primarily in the domain of digital solutions for biodiversity
- Business model is scalable and executed by an ambitious team of at least five FTEs
- Either have a publicly available solution or have completed two proof of concept projects
We are conscious of the benefits of gender diversity encourage applications from female founders and female-led teams.
