Intento

Intento has developed a patient-controlled electrical-stimulation device that helps to treat arm and hand paralysis in stroke victims. In a proof-of-concept study at Lausanne University Hospital, 50% of patients were able to improve their mobility significantly. This will now be followed by a larger clinical trial.
