Developing the fastest electric aircraft

Pio Aeronefs, a start-up from then Canton of Vaud, is developin UR-1, the first Swiss all-electric race aircraft. it will fly in the Air Race E World Championships. UR-1 is expected to reach 277fts (more than 500 km/h)making it the fastest electric aircraft in the world.
