The Neuchâtel-based company WeTweak co-founded by David Santos, Filipe Santos and Marcello Bragadin offers a new intelligent digital platform for music production. A high-potential market in line with the current exponential worldwide growth of music producers. The 2021 BCN Innovation Awardee will launch pre-sales of subscriptions in September.
WeTweak is a new smart digital platform for music production. It offers large and diverse sound libraries for several musical genres. The platform addresses the music production industry in a B2B and B2C model. The company sells downloads of various high quality sounds as well as online training courses for music producers to help them in their creation of songs or sounds.
The Neuchâtel based startup’s goal is also to democratize music production and distribution in a more transparent and rewarding revenue sharing model for artists. Similarly, creators and producers can put their creation on WeTweak, broadcast it or sell their sounds from our platform where they can train and get information. One of the major assets of the new platform will be its unique patented AI module for the automatic analysis of sounds.
As co-founder and Co-CEO David Santos explains to Startupticker.ch “Our value proposition of a full service platform also includes diversification into new and fast growing segments from its original Techno scene, where Fragment Audio was already the market leader, with an active community of over 50,000 users, now acquired by WeTweak.”
The startup already enjoys strong appeal from the music community, from internationally renowned music producers to labels before its entry into the market and can count on electronic music major artists support.
Kickstarting pre-sales in September
The WeTweak platform will to begin pre-sales of subscriptions in September to its historical community. It will offer privileged access to the first version of we-tweak.com scheduled for the end of December 2022 with content offers at preferential prices.
Fragment Audio Sàrl, now transformed into WeTweak SA won the BCN Innovation Award in late 2021 cashing CHF 150K. It also closed a first seed fundraising completed by a non-convertible loan of CHF 1 Mio in early 2022. In August, WeTweak started its CHF 8M SeriesA1 funding round to ensure ambitious growth in early 2023 and a successful launch via major partnerships, with exponential music community adoption and user growth. There are now over 40 million music producers who are looking for simpler, more comprehensive solutions, such as WeTweak will offer upon entry into the market.
