The five finalists of the ‘Future Living Contest’ revealed

Shared rooms for work and residence, electric cars and community bonding services: these are the key areas that the five finalists of the Future Living contest address. The winner will have the opportunity to work with the celebrated real-estate company Losinger Marazzi.

Organized by the SwissPropTech, the 'Future Living Contest' seeks to recognize startups that are developing innovative concepts, products or technology for the real-estate industry. The selection committee comprising of industry experts has nominated five finalists to further compete for the prize. The finalists include:

Dashcom
Based in Fribourg, Dashcom offers a smart management tool for meeting rooms. Its digital solution comprises of hardware and software that are based on the latest technologies and algorithms. Thanks to real-time detection of unoccupied rooms, the app provides users information on free meeting rooms in a short time. Moreover, the app learns the user’s working habits and understand their preferences to meet their needs.

EcarUp
The startup developed the concept of electric car charging stations sharing to bring car drivers and charging stations providers together. The aim is to maximize returns from under-utilized charging stations at offices, hotels, retail centers or apartment complexes. Not only can drivers find charging stations for their electric cars, but they can also make payments directly in the app. On the other hand, charging station providers such as private, semi-private and public charging stations have a flexible charging station management solution for optimization of usage of their charging stations and automatic billing based on energy consumption.

Enoki
With its NeighborHub solar pavilion, the startup offers tailored activities and services to residents to make their daily lives more comfortable while promoting a sustainable lifestyle. Beyond being examples of sustainable architecture, the hubs are built according to local needs. A prototype of the Hub was deployed at the Bluefactory in Freiburg. However, the startup’s mission is to build hubs across Switzerland.

OurHub
Established as a spinoff from Sharing.Lab, OurHub combines urban games and cutting edge technology to facilitate face-to-face interactions and social experiences between local peers. Through its app, community members can book and invite others to an activity or game at any Hub in the available locations. The aim is to build stronger communities. The app is currently in a beta mode.

VivaHouse
The London-based startup offers co-living fully-furnished designer rooms with luxury shared kitchens & bathrooms with short term contracts and on-site concierge services. Each room has a unique style to allow customers to choose rooms that meet their personal needs. Through its App, the startup aims to create the perfect co-living community by connecting tenants with anyone to explore the local area with or provide assistance.

The finalists will pitch to the jury on the Pitch Day on 16 May to win the following prizes: 1 prize: Pilot project in Switzerland with Losinger Marazzi, the 2nd Prize: CHF4000 and 3rd Prize: CHF 2000.All finalists will benefit from high visibility on Losinger Marazzi, Bouygues and SwissPropTech media channels.
