Industry experts of different renowned reports have selected RealTyme, SmartHelio and Dydon among the companies recognised for their outstanding contribution in transforming the communications, energy, and sustainability sectors. Whether recognition of achievements, cash prizes or acceleration programs, these prizes enable startups to build their track record.

The Techstars physical health accelerator supports pulsewave
Pulsewave is developing TempleGuard, a remote patient monitoring device that attaches to glasses to provide biometric information about a patient’s vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation behind the ear. The solution is critical in monitoring high blood pressure and other cardiovascular diseases. Peter Weisz, CEO of PulseWave, is currently enrolled in the Techstars physical health accelerator in Fort Worth (Texas), a program that helps startups focusing on transforming physical health to accelerate their development. The program will close on 6 December with a Demo day.

Dydon Ai named Best taxonomy data solution for ESG
Thanks to its TAXO TOOL, Dydon AI, one of the leading companies offering artificial intelligence solutions for sustainable finance was named “Best taxonomy data solution for ESG” at the ESG Insight Awards 2022, which recognises established solution vendors and innovative newcomers providing leading ESG solutions, services, and consultancy to capital market participants. TAXO TOOL is an AI software for the EU Taxonomy, developed in collaboration with its partners Bundesverband Öffentlicher Banken Deutschlands (VÖB) and VÖB-Service GmbH. The tool currently represents a key solution to help financial institutions and big corporates comply with the new taxonomy regulation for sustainable activities and fulfil Europe’s climate goals.

SmartHelio’s CEO gets recognised
The Renewable Energy India Expo and the Informa Markets team have chosen SmartHelio’s CEO and founder Govinda Upadhyay, as the RE Professional of the Year 2022. Leveraging his more than ten years of experience in cleantech space, Govida developed software that predicts PV system faults in real time – avoiding downtime and increasing turnover by up to 10 percent. Today, the startup has grown to become the world’s fastest-growing cleantech data intelligence company, whose solutions are used by leading solar developers in Europe, Asia and the US to make solar installations profitable and sustainable.

Rea Diagnostics wins $5000 in Qatar
Qatar Foundation’s World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) has awarded the top four winners of its 2022 Innovation Competitions, comprising two categories; Spark (early-stage startups) and Booster (established startups looking to scale). Among the winners is Rea Diagnostics, which received $5000 in the category Spark. The Lausanne-based startup founded by Loulia Kasem, is developing a non-invasive, intelligent pad that tracks the biomarkers in vaginal fluid indicative of PTB. The solution aims to identify women at risk of preterm birth (PTB), the leading cause of death in infants below the age of five. Early risk identification of PTB can help doctors administer the necessary medical treatment to decrease potential harm to the fetus.

RealTyme recognised by Forrester Wave: Secure Communications
Geneva-based startup, RealTyme, is a trusted all-in-one communication and collaboration platform that allows its customers to connect and collaborate securely. Its comprehensive suite of communication and video collaboration of tools includes zero-trust encryption by default, secure file sharing and storage. The startup has been recognised as a leader in the prestigious report, The Forrester Wave: Secure Communications, Q3 2022, after scoring highest possible scores in the User Privacy and Metadata Security and Privacy criteria and the customisation and execution roadmap criteria. The startup emerged in a field of the 12 top providers that were evaluated using 26 criteria: Assurance and Control; Metadata Security and Privacy; Performance and Resiliency; Product Vision; and Execution Roadmap.
