Eight start-ups presented their company at the Swiss Pavilion at RESEARCH & INNOVATION, a part of the HANNOVER MESSE. The fair ended last Friday and the exhibitors are very satisfied with both the quantity and the quality of the visitors.

After five days of industrial innovation, dynamic networking and lead generation, HANNOVER MESSE 2015 – the world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology – drew to a close on Friday, 17 April, to rave reviews by exhibitors and visitors. With “Integrated Industry – Join the Network” as its keynote theme, HANNOVER MESSE 2015 soared to new heights. The show placed major emphasis on the digitization of manufacturing as well as on human-machine collaboration, innovative subcontracting solutions and intelligent energy systems – topics which pulled in the crowds. More than 220,000 trade visitors – 70,000 of whom came from outside Germany – used HANNOVER MESSE to catch up on the latest technologies and make key investment decisions.

RESEARCH & TECHNOLOGY, at the heart of the HANNOVER MESSE, was again the marketplace for research findings and pioneering industrial developments – with the emphasis on technology transfer between science lab and factory floor and with the aim of transforming ideas quickly and efficiently into commercially viable products and new applications.

Eight start-ups have been selected for the Swiss Pavilion at this year’s RESEARCH & TECHNOLOGY:

Akselos S.A
Alemnis GmbH
FEMTOprint SA
Omniroll AG
Swisspyrring S.A.
Swisswall Solutions SA
TYRE RECYCLING SOLUTIONS SA
DEPsys Sàrl

In addition Greater Zurich Area AG and UNIVERSITY OF FRIBOURG, Dept. of chemistry were present at the Pavilion.

The innovative solutions and products of the young companies met with a keen response. From time to time some booths were overcrowded. Reto Schoch of Schoch Marketing who organised the Pavilion mentions especially FEMTOprint, DEPSYS and Omniroll. However “all the exhibitors were very satisfied with the number of visitors as well as with their quality”, says Reto Schoch.

In addition to new contacts to the numerous visitors the exhibiting start-ups benefitted from networking at the Pavilion. The clean-tech companies Tyre Recycling, Swisspyrring and Swisswall Solutions will have follow-up meetings to explore the possibility of cooperation.

The SWISS PAVILION is organised by SCHOCH Marketing and supported by CTI Commission for Technology and Innovation, SNSF Swiss National Science Foundation, STA Swiss Technology Award, as well as S-GE Switzerland Global Enterprise and Handelskammer Deutschland Schweiz.
