Sonic Emotion today announced that it has been named an International CES Innovations 2014 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree for its Absolute 3D sound technology.

Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 29 product categories.

Sonic Emotion’s Absolute 3D sound is an embedded technology, as well as software solution, for consumer electronics that provides consumer brands the ability to create a natural virtual 3D sound field across the entire listening area while providing every listener an Absolute 3D sound experience with an enlarged sweet spot so everyone enjoys.

Sonic Emotion’s Absolute 3D sound technology is available both as a chip solution and software license that brands can integrate into their existing products, from speaker systems and gaming devices to TVs and laptops to complete any home or mobile experience.
