Startup INVEST inks partnership with a new organizer for Startup DAYS 2021

The Startup DAYs (SUD) is the leading conference for start-up topics in Switzerland. Beginning in 2021, this two-day event for the first time will be organised by Swiss company LINDEN Live Learning Labs. With this new partnership, Startup INVEST is preparing for the future.

The SUD were carried out for the first time in 2004. By now, around 1,000 decision-makers from the national and international ecosystem of start-up companies participate in the conference in Bern every year. As a place for meetings and networking, the Startup DAYs consolidate this ecosystem by bringing start-up companies closer together as well as into contact with investors and corporates alike.

Christian Wenger, chairman of the association Startup INVEST and founder of the Startup DAYs, is convinced of this new partnership: "The Startup DAYs were successfully established and positioned by Jean-Pierre Vuilleumier, creating a solid basis for further development. I am proud of what we have already achieved for the start-up ecosystem in Switzerland. LINDEN Live Learning Labs has the needed power, creativity and experience to take the event to the next level with us. We are thinking, among other things, of a stronger integration of virtual elements, participative formats and bold new forms of joint exchange among entrepreneurial personalities."

JP Vuilleumier will support the new crew as Senior Advisor in the Steering Committee of SUD. "After 17 years of SUD, the time has come for me to step back and give space to the younger generation. I will once again focus more on coaching deep tech start-ups, because I miss these contacts very much". The former responsible for the Startup DAYs will remain with Startup INVEST for the other member activities.

Participants to become movers and shakers

The two founders of LINDEN Live Learning Labs, Dominik Isler and Fabian Wassmer, are former members of the executive board of the Swiss Economic Forum and have proven experience in conference business. Their names stand for creativity and they know the Swiss start-up ecosystem inside out. Dominik Isler says with a smile: "We are all start-ups. The Startup Mindset is the engine of growth for the Swiss economy, in all the life cycle phases of a company. That's why we are developing SUD further into a desirable business conference. We are doing this by combining relevant and inspiring content with a holistic and participatory overall experience that will transform participants into committed movers and shakers".

The next Startup DAYs will take place in Bern on October 5th & 6th 2020. The 2021 will be held on May 26th & 27th in Bern as well.
