Swiss Finance and Technology Association announces start-up mentoring program

The new mentoring program leverages SFTA members and network to create a diverse base of mentors who provide 3-4 hours a month of stage-agnostic support to each high potential Fintech startup. The program structure is flexible, meaning startups define their needs and engagement model. This direct interaction is complemented by a series of program touchpoint events and related activities.

Approximately of 10-20 high-potential founders and startups at any stage of development will be matched with 2-3 carefully selected mentors from Switzerland and abroad. These mentors are capable of helping FinteCHs transform their businesses into world-class champions.

The program neutral, non-profit, and inclusive. It runs from June to September, culminating at the second Swiss FinteCH Pitch planned for the first week of October. For founders & startups
SFTA is looking for the Fintech startups with the potential to become successful internationally. Startups can be in the idea stage or already been active for a number of years. The program offers the boost required to perform at a world-class level, secure financing, and become a success story. SFTA will announce the mentors and open applications for startups to apply in late-May.

For mentors
SFTA is looking for a variety of mentors to provide expert knowledge and use their exceptional networks to help bridge any challenges the startups may encounter. The top five profiles sought include experienced entrepreneurs, senior financial professionals, technology leaders, international contacts, and design experts.
