MUUME collaborates with European payment service provider Ingenico

The focus of the cooperation is a tailor-made solution created by both companies - an app adapted to the needs of each retailer, helping retailers to further strengthen their own brand. MUUME’s contribution to the cooperation is its many years of experience in managing digital product data, digital payments and app and backend development. Ingenico will be contributing its expertise in the areas of payment, fraud management and loyalty & couponing.

MUUME digitizes everyday purchasing and consumer processes on the smartphone and combines these with standard payment services and value-added services such as customer loyalty or click&collect. Shopping, finding out information, paying and collecting points - everything is done digitally via an app, be it at the POS, on the move or at home.

The European payment service provider Ingenico Payment Services, part of the Ingenico Group, offers retailers and service providers a comprehensive and innovative portfolio of services and payment solutions, which reduces the complexity of payments to a minimum and helps retailers support payment methods and financial services and increases customer loyalty long term through loyalty concepts.

The app focuses on the following functions: Self-checkout via smartphone, integration of customer loyalty tools (collecting points and redeeming coupons) and processing payments via smartphone or Wearable with secure direct debit or credit card at the POS, in the online shop or even in a shop optimised for the app. Goods and services can thus be ordered in advance. By connecting to logistics service providers, the customer can arrange for home delivery of paid goods or simply collect pre-paid meals at the requested time.
