Qonto authentication
Qonto serves 200,000 customers in four countries. The fast-growing French company has chosen Futurae as key partner for authentication and transaction confirmation requests.

Qonto’s mission is to simplify business finance management, through the clever integration of banking, accounting, and expense management services with a fully digital user experience. In line with this mission, and in order to meet the European Banking Authority’s strong customer authentication requirements according to its directive PSD2, Qonto decided to migrate away from SMS messages and use Futurae authentication platform, instead.

According to a press release, Qonto selects Futurae convinced by the provided technology, quality of service, and fully aligned company goals. In choosing a key vendor for the first interaction its clients perform when using the e-banking portal and mobile apps, Qonto identified Futurae security and usability know-how combination, modern and clean API interfaces, as well as the most scalable backend infrastructure, as the winning reasons towards a successful collaboration. Qonto was convinced by Futurae’s successful track record in providing security services out of its 24x7 monitored cloud deployment to European customers of the likes of Scalable Capital, SIX Group, Santander Consumer Bank, to name a few.

Founded in 2017, Qonto is available in four countries (France, Spain, Italy and Germany) and serves over 200,000 companies. Since its creation, the Paris based company has raised EUR136 million. The team includes more than 300 talents.
