The dates for the swissnex roadshow in September are fixed. The speakers will present important information about the US market, the start-up ecosystem, the CTI Market Entry Camp USA and the swissnex outposts in Boston, San Francisco and New York.

The US can be one of the most inspiring places for entrepreneurs. Through the CTI Market Entry Camp USA, the swissnex outposts offer Swiss tech entrepreneurs the opportunity to leverage this dynamic ecosystem to accelerate their startup’s growth. Swissnex has offices in Boston, San Francisco and new outpost in New York. In September, swissnex’s Cyril Dorsaz and Niccolò Iorno stop by six Swiss cities to talk about your startup’s opportunities in the US market. Swiss entrepreneurs will gain in-depth knowledge of the most vibrant startup ecosystems in the US (Boston, New York and San Francisco) and learn how to best leverage these markets to accelerate their company’s growth and gain a competitive advantage.

The speakers will explore the characteristics of the US startup ecosystem to help boost startup’s growth. Participants will learn how their startup can benefit from US exposure, which city is the best fit for their company, and how to get relevant market feedback quickly. Entrepreneurs will find out what can realistically be expected if they enter the US market, how to leverage US-based talent and expertise, and what they need to know to successfully raise money in the US.

Cyril Dorsaz
Cyril Dorsaz works closely with startups accepted into the CTI Market Entry Camp USA program at swissnex San Francisco. As part of the Startup+Innovation team he builds and executes customized facilitation services to help Swiss startups get faster traction in the US. In doing so, he immerses himself in the local and national startup scene to give Swiss startups meaningful and targeted advice, and to broker relevant connections. Cyril launched two startups himself and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Geneva.

Niccolò Iorno
Niccolò Iorno is project leader for innovation and entrepreneurship at swissnex Boston. He is in charge of the Venture Leaders program and the CTI Market Entry Camp USA program. He supports Swiss entrepreneurs in their internationalization efforts by helping them plunge into one of the most vibrant startup ecosystems in the US. Whether through targeted introductions or through structured programs, Niccolò works towards bringing the American entrepreneurial and “think big” mindset closer to Swiss innovators. He holds an MBA, is a biotechnologist by training and has extensive experience in technology transfer.
