Nine startups have been selected to join the recently launched Microsoft Switzerland AI Tech Accelerator. Starting 12 February, the cohort will get access to technology infrastructure and experts to advance and deploy their solutions.

Companies are increasingly leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance efficiency, streamline processes and gain valuable insights from data. Startups are contributing to this AI trend by providing robust algorithms and improved data processing capabilities. The Microsoft Switzerland AI Tech Accelerator is giving selected startups the opportunity to accelerate their product development.

Nine startups have been selected to proceed to the inaugural four-week program. After initial kick-off calls to refine the individual AI use cases, the focus of the in-person sessions will be first to take a closer look at each contributing factor – such as data in- and output, different AI Services, responsible AI frameworks, security, DevOps environments, and many more. Subsequently, they will work on the execution, with the support of technical experts and based on the Microsoft technology platform.

“Amid the Generative AI evolution, our goal at Microsoft Switzerland is to ensure every startup can harness the power of AI to create true value for their customers and gain a sustainable competitive edge”, says Andrew Reid, Global Partner Solutions Lead at Microsoft Switzerland. “The innovative use cases of this first cohort are a testament to the Swiss startup ecosystem as a whole – and why tailored support programs are indispensable to meet the startups’ distinctive needs. At the same time, I’m curious to learn from the participants and experience how they derive impact through AI.”

These are the selected companies:
