Three startups Beqom, alpha Diagnostics and Abilect will not only benefit from the expertise of their newly appointed board members but also from their investments. Scout24 Group founder Joachim Schoss invested in proptech Abilect and entrepreneur Alexander Kühne joins Industrie 4.0 startup Alpha Diagnostics.

Joachim Schoss, the founder of Scout24, one of Europe’s most successful online businesses, and one of Europe’s most successful entrepreneurs has joined Swiss proptech Abilect as an investor and President of the board. He brings decades of experience in the successful building of digital solutions for the European real estate industry. Since the launch in the Swiss market in 2020, Abilect has been growing rapidly with its product for both private and professional customers, servicing both residential and commercial real estate. With Abilect, customers can manage the entire lifecycle of their properties from the construction and renovation to the general maintenance of their properties. Abilect's software solutions are focused on optimising the efficiency of real estate and bringing it into the future through the integration of digital and ecological solutions.Abilect has rapidly progressed with its activities nationally and has secured several strategic partnerships with major organisations in the country, such as Migros and Salt. The startup will benefit from Joachim’s expertise as it continues its fast-growing trajectory. Joachim’s involvement will allow Abilect to take the required crucial strategic steps forward to accomplish its mission to become the leading 360° proptech solution for all property-related requirements internationally.

Alpha Diagnostics welcomes Shareholder and board member
Based in Reinach, Alpha Diagnostics developed and supplies its AlphaSystem, a plug-and-play solution designed for advanced predictive condition-based monitoring for combustion engines and rotating machinery. The technology uses torsional vibration measured by speed sensors to detect anomalies within minutes. Alexander Kühne has joined the startup as a shareholder and member of the board of directors to support the startup. Alexander brings 18 years of experience in leading organisations. Since 2014, he has been the managing director of Kühne Intertech in Switzerland and its subsidiary in the Netherlands. His company specialises in power transmission and motion control products.

Former SAP manager joind Beqom
Beqom, the leader in cloud-based compensation and performance management software, appointed Jenny Dearborn to its Board of Directors. Jenny is an award-winning thought leader, speaker, and author on human capital management and talent transformation. She is the founder of Actionable Analytics Group (AAG), an advisory firm that supports business development for education and human resources technology firms. She sits on the board of talent assessment technology firm Plum. Prior to AAG, Jenny was Chief People Officer at Klaviyo and Chief Talent Officer at SAP and has been a Chief Learning Officer at five technology firms. She has been acknowledged as one of the 50 most powerful women in tech and her book, “Data Driven: How Performance Analytics Delivers Extraordinary Sales Results,” hit #1 on Amazon's "New Business Releases" list.
