ESA accelerates commercialization of Cysec’s spacetech solution

PUSH, a platform initiated by ESA – as part of their committment to supporting and promoting the commercialisation of space services – enables companies to offer their innovative space-related products and services to other European companies within the New Space ecosystem. ESA provides allocated funding to procure these services, and the winners will, in turn, offer them for free or at discounted prices to other European companies through a competitive process. This co-funding opportunity from ESA plays a pivotal role in boosting the business development prospects for both the providers and their potential customers.

Cysec is one of the three companies benefiting from this offer, winning the Theme 1: Satellite as a Service] category. TheEuropean data security company, based in Lausanne and Paris, provides a Confidential Computing software solution which enables companies to securely deploy their applications with highly sensitive data in industries such as critical infrastructure, edge applications, healthcare, defence and newspace. Its product ARCA SATLINK, which was designed to grow the adoption of “Space Data Link Security” (SDLS)-based security on space communication, is a software solution providing end-to-end protection of TMTC and payload data. It provides all procedures to encrypt, decrypt, authenticate and verify, frames, to manage key lifecycle and virtual channel configuration for satellite communications using CCSDS Space Data Link frames.
