Ludicious is inviting international game developers to submit entries to its game festival next year. Swiss games can also be entered for the SGDA Swiss Game Award.

International game developers have the opportunity to enter their projects for the second Zürich Game Festival, which takes place from 21 to 24 January 2016. Ludicious wants to find the most innovative games by emerging studios and young talents; developers from around the world have until 4 October to submit their games.

Developers can enter one of two competitions: the International Competition, with its Ludicious Award and a prize of €8,000, which is aimed at young developers with a finished project, or the Student Competition, which honours the best student prototype with the Outstanding Talent Award and €4,000 in prize money. Swiss games can also be entered for the SGDA Swiss Game Award, which will be awarded to the best Swiss game by the Swiss Game Developers Association (SGDA).

Ludicious is a networking and exchange platform for game developers. With its exhibitions, conferences and competitions, the festival will show the most innovative new games by young and upcoming studios and emerging game developers. FONDATION SUISA will also announce the winner of the prize for the best original sound competition at Ludicious. An exhibition will showcase the games nominated for the competitions, as well as selected projects. Numerous talks and workshops will also be held during the festival.

Submissions are now open until 4 October 2015.
