Young Swiss image sensor company acquired by CMOSIS

AWAIBA was founded in 2004. The Group is headquartered in Yverdon-les-Bains. Until 2004 CEO Martin Waeny was CTO of Photonfocus. Before his time at Photonfocus Waeny worked as PhD Student in the at the CSEM Zurich lab in the group of Prof. Peter Seitz on a PHD to the topic of high dynamic range CMOS image sensors in sub micrometer cmos processes.
