Viewster, a rapidly-growing ‘free on demand’ service for movies and TV shows based in Switzerland, announces new office openings in New York, London, Singapore and Adelaide, to support international business development through regional representatives.

Viewster is offering a wide range of current and classic films, TV series and film star interviews to watch for free or for a small fee. Based in Switzerland, Viewster is available in 120 countries worldwide. Viewster’s service is available on the web at Viewster.com and is pre-installed on most Internet-connected TVs and Blu-ray players.

High demand for video advertising has spurred new office openings around the globe. In addition, the start-up has bolstered its management team with the appointments of Helen Biggart as CFO, Tzvetan Horozov as SVP of Product Management and Philipp Rotermund as SVP Business Development.

Kai Henniges, CEO, Viewster comments: “With more viewers choosing to watch films and TV shows on-demand, we’re seeing a big shift in advertising spend away from linear TV. To capitalise on this trend and the rising demand for our service worldwide, we are turbo-charging our international expansion with new office openings and a raft of regional hires in our key markets. We are also thrilled to have now Helen, Tzvetan and Philipp on board to drive and shape the business.”

Helen has more than 20 years of experience working in finance and supporting growth businesses. Previously, Helen was CFO of Touch Clarity, a behavioural targeting business, which was acquired by Omniture, now part of Adobe, and worked at GE Capital Europe in the corporate acquisitions team and private equity group.

Tzvetan brings his vast experience as a product manager and innovator to Viewster. He has pioneered numerous consumer and enterprise solutions in the area of cross-device media streaming, advertising, social networking, and consumer loyalty. In his time at Motorola, USA he filed numerous patents and publications.

Philipp has been working in the media industry since over 10 years and will develop media partnerships and new advertising products at Viewster. Most recently he was CEO of Aximus AG and has grown Aximus to one of Europe's leading partners for managed video on demand services on all screens.
