ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, and DataCenterVision, a start-up based in Yverdon, have announced a global partnership agreement.

ABB will resell DataCenterVision's software application for datacenter asset, operations and IT infrastructure management. DataCenterVision will resell ABB’s software application DECATHLON for datacenter power and power-infrastructure management. Both products are complementary, and both companies quickly saw the benefits of having a combined offering, given the perfect combination between the two superior technologies.

“We were amazed to see a startup company like DataCenterVision being chosen by global leaders and significant customers in all industries: luxury, insurance, banking, watch-making. They have designed and developed a very successful software application, and their agility enables them to innovate at very fast pace”, says Wolfgang Felber, Group Vice President & Systems Group Manager at ABB Switzerland.

“We’re impressed by the entrepreneurial spirit of ABB. Despite being a true, global company, with presence in more than 150 countries, they still have this unique capacity to generate innovation, and develop superior products for power performance and power efficiency”, recognizes Philippe Haustete, CEO of DataCenterVision.

“The datacenter market is now a key priority and business for ABB, as it is the digital factory fueling the world’s contemporary economy : e-commerce, online business, cloud computing, etc.”, added Felber.

DataCenterVision has designed and developed a full-web, client-server software application for datacenter asset, operations and IT infrastructure management. Based in Y-Parc, the tech park in Yverdon, in Switzerland, the company addresses all geographical markets, in Europe and other continents.
