Long-term collaboration, access to a global network, coaching, and funding are some of the benefits that Aidonic, Algorized, and Digipharm will exploit during the next months to promote their business development. The three startups have been selected to participate in some of the world’s most prominent accelerator programs, giving them a platform to fast-track their growth.

Aidonic, is one of the ten companies selected from a pool of 1400+ applicants worldwide to participate in the United Nations World Food Programme's WFP Innovation Accelerator. By integrating advanced technologies, such as blockchain, artificial intelligence and payment aggregation, Aidonic offers a smart and more transparent approach to handling cash and e-voucher distributions. As part of the program, Aidonic’s solutions will be deployed in the operations of the WFP in a secure, privacy-centric online environment, allowing the WFP to deliver aid more effectively.

The Zug-based startup and the peers in the cohort are part of a global initiative aiming to address the global hunger calamity, which currently affects a significant population – today, 345 million people worldwide face acute food insecurity, with 40 million experiencing emergency levels of hunger. Register here to attend the WFP Innovation Pitch Event on Friday, 16 February 2024. “We are thrilled to join this remarkable cohort, pioneering groundbreaking solutions with the world's largest humanitarian organisation to combat global food insecurity, strengthen humanitarian assistance, and build supply chain resilience,” stated the startup in its LinkedIn posts.
