You’ve probably noticed that the development of the platform accelerated over the last few months; this fundraising will accelerate it all even more. Now we have the means to realize our ambition, the next challenge is to build a sustainable business. We’ll launch premium accounts in the coming months, giving you access to new ways for you to live off of the music you create & control.

Doing It Yourself Globally
We strongly believe in Do It Yourself, because it’s not necessary to get on TV or in magazines anymore to be successful: recording a good song, uploading it, and connecting with a bunch of fans can do the trick. We’ll make it easier to reach your fans wherever they are. official.fm houses content from music creators & professionals located all over the world. There’s a world of music, and music shouldn’t be limited by geographic restrictions. You don’t all have the same needs at the same moment so our tools can be used in different ways, from quick private sharing to complete distribution. Our mission is to make those tools more powerful, faster and easier to use.

Thanks to our brand new Advanced API, official.fm is improving the level of music discovery through partnerships like Shuffler.fm and so many others to come.

Desktop Track Manager
Soon we’re launching a desktop track manager: the fastest and easiest way to upload and manage your full catalogue from anywhere. The less time you spend managing, the more time you can spend creating and monetizing.

What we’re doing is the result of a common vision, initiated by music industry veterans. Instead of wasting time and energy complaining about the state of music, it was time to think forward and to help build the future. It was time to offer an experience that empowers artists and content owners to customize and rapidly share content, bundled with a set of advanced features that are constantly updated. Our dashboard is already home base to hundreds of thousands of artists, labels and promoters and we see the massive amounts of content you’ve uploaded as a stamp of trust.

We value this trust and realize it’s our most important asset. We highly regard all types of content in the new music ecosystem: originals, remixes, covers, mash-ups, podcasts, and mixes. They are all pieces of work that represent the know-how of an artist. We are here to observe and protect your rights as music creators and content owners. These days, getting remixed is a great indicator of fame. We see the remix as a demo 2.0 which helps rising artists get discovered. We’ll make it easier for you to connect and collaborate.
