Atizo wins at a pitching competition in the Silicon Valley

Christian Hirsig and Bettina Marthaler of Atizo are in San Francisco since May. In their blog they report about the trip. Now they announce a success. Christian Hirsig is winner of an international pitching competition at Plug and Play Tech Center Summer Expo.

Atizo administers a growing web-community of 20’000 creative thinkers, who are characterised by their user, consumer and special knowledge. For the mobilisation of this community and yet other innovator teams, Atizo continually develops innovation management tools, which are applied in innovation projects of companies and organisations of all sizes and sectors. The company was founded in 2007 by Christian Hirsig, Reto Aebersold und Matthias Ruch.

Christian Hirsig and Bettina Marthaler are in San Francisco since the beginning of May and they will stay there until End of June. The two entrepreneurs are visiting companies, conferences and other events and report about their experiences in their blog. They are supported by Swissnex San Francisco and its US Entry Camp for Swiss start-ups.

Last week they took part in a pitching competition at the Plug and Play Tech Center Summer Expo in Sunnyvale. 25 start-ups from all over the world competed against each other. And to his own surprise Christian Hirsig won. He got a brand new tablet and some press coverage.

Plug and Play Tech Center is a business accelerator that specializes in growing tech startups. Headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA, Plug and Play’s global network includes 300+ tech startups, 180+ investors and a community of leading universities and corporate partners. One activity of the Tech Center is the organisation of industry networking events such as the Summer Expo.
