START Summit 2023

As Europe’s largest student-run conference for entrepreneurship and technology, the event last year brought together more than 3500 participants, including startups, investors, corporates and young talents to learn, get inspired, network and exchange existing or potential partners, customers and employees. The event also recorded more than 22’000 minutes of meetings held among attendees.

This year’s event focuses on ‘Reaching for Resilience’, broken down into three pillars.

The first of these pillars is ‘Embracing Failure’, which is an inevitable and necessary part of the journey to success. By embracing failure and seeing it as an opportunity for growth, entrepreneurs can become more resilient and better equipped to handle challenges and setbacks. By shifting the mindset to growth and learning, founders can transform failure into a powerful personal and professional development tool.

The second and third pillars, ‘Building Resilience’ and ‘Daring to START Over’, will provide attendees with practical tools and strategies for dealing with adversity and finding success. The lessons learned and insights shared by the speakers and partners will be beneficial during the current financial hardship and economic downturn.

Various activities await the participants. For instance, startups and enthusiasts have the opportunity to can apply for the Start Summiteer competition to win prizes and the Start Hack to solve challenges.
