At the SICTIC Investor Day innovation meets investment in the dynamic world of MedTech. SICTIC investment criteria

The startups selected to pitch are:

aiEndoscopic – using artificial intelligence and robotics in Endoscopy, the ETH spinoff developed intuBot, an assistive device designed to simplify airway management (tracheal intubation).

Aseptuva  – is fighting Hospital Acquired Infections with its in-situ disinfection technology designed to prevent pathogenic colonization in and around different catheters.

Cambridge Vision Technology – is developing an affordable and scalable hardware/software platform capable of identifying ocular biomarkers for Alzheimer’s Disease in a primary-care setting.

Implanz –  State-of-the-art planning tools for dentists and manufacturers,  to conduct implant testing and surgical planning on human bone samples.

MachineMD – with its first product, neos™, the startup is introducing a non-invasive device for an automatic, quantitative, standardised neuro-ophthalmological examination, to improve the measurement of brain function

Rhovica Neuroimaging – is developing a new external ventricular drainage catheter (EVD). Its product SoNav, allows for efficient catheter placement and monitoring of brain ventricles as an emergency treatment for patients at risk of high brain pressure.

Ylah AG – offers an interactive web and mobile application for therapists and patients to facilitate the continuation of therapy between sessions.

Magnes  – developed algorithms to analyze one's activities and gait to achieve better clinical outcomes for neuro disorders.

MediRapp – developed the EchoRapp software to empower physicians by adeptly analysing and rendering complex clinical data in an intuitive and accessible manner, thus facilitating the accurate identification of diagnoses.

Regenosca -  its technology platform TissueSpan provides implants for soft tissue repair as a noninvasive alternative to a patient’s own tissue that is currently used to repair soft tissue defects.
