Crafting Your Business Model for a Scalable, Profitable Company

17.08.2017 18:00 - 20:00
Wenger & Vieli Dufourstrasse 56 8034 Zurich

Bill Reichert invites entrepreneurs to the workshop “crafting your business model”. They will get practical and useful frameworks that will enable them to develop, test, and validate their business and financial model.

Building a successful business requires a sustainable and scalable business model. A good business model is more than a bunch of objectives and strategies; entrepreneurs need to convert those strategies into a financial model and metrics. In this session, Bill Reichert (of Garage Technology Ventures) will review the elements of business models and provide a framework for converting them into a financial model and key metrics.

This workshop is open to startup founders, startup executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, designers and developers to network and then participate in the live stream from Silicon Valley.

Participants will be challenged to articulate their current hypotheses for each element, and then connect the elements in their “Business Model Formula,” the financial model that converts their words into economics.

During the workshop, participants will learn:

  • The nine key elements of the Business Model Matrix

  • The limitations of the “Business Model Canvas”

  • Why most business models are doomed to failure

  • How to test, iterate, and validate the business model elements

  • How to convert the business model into a financial model

  • Questions investors will ask about the business model

They will also have the opportunity to get insights about Access Silicon Valley
