Pascale Bruderer steigt bei IT-Startup ein

Die Ständerätin und frühere Nationalratspräsidentin Pascale Bruderer wird per 1. Januar 2019 Teilhaberin und Verwaltungsrätin beim Thalwiler Startup Crossiety. Das Unternehmen entwickelt digitale, soziale Netzwerke für Gemeinden. Zu den Gründern gehört Steffen Meister, der langjährige CEO der Partners Group.

The book “Bio- and Medtech Entrepreneurship” published by the USI Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, introduces a new approach to life sciences entrepreneurship. Farmy erobert die Westschweiz

Im April eröffnete der Schweizer Online-Markt Farmy sein zweites Logistikzentrum in der Romandie. Erste Erfolge haben sich bereits eingestellt. Bis 2020 will man mindestens 30 Prozent des Umsatzes in der Westschweiz erwirtschaften. Federal Council appoints Martina Hirayama as new SERI State Secretary

Martina Hirayama will head the State Secretary for Education, Research and Innovation from January 2019. She is dean of the ZHAW School of Engineering and serves as vice-president of the board of Innosusuisse. She had also co-founded an ETH Zurich spin-off in new coating technologies, and has been CEO of the company until 2008.
