WealthBriefing Swiss Award recognises fintech startups

WealthBriefing Swiss Awards recognise outstanding organisations and individuals in the global private banking, wealth management and trusted advisor communities for their achievement, performance and innovation. A jury of experts from the sectors selects the winners for each category.

The winners of the ninth edition include three startups:

Wecan Group
Together with Swiss banking institutions and external asset managers, Fintech startup Wecan Group built the Wecan Comply platform. It simplifies the hundreds of daily interactions between banks and independent asset managers, reduces the workload related to all compliance processes, and eases information sharing in real-time. The solution enables cost savings on compliance management – estimated between 35 and 60 per cent for banks and asset managers. The Wecan Group was awarded in the Wealth Management Technology categories as well as in the External Asset Managers categorie. 

Apiax
Based in Zurich with offices in Lisbon and London, Apiax built an award-winning technology that provides easy access to compliance knowledge. Its platform transforms complex regulations into easy-to-use digital compliance rules. The solution enables companies in an increasingly regulated economy to stay focused on their core business objectives: delivering high value and unique experiences to their customers. Apiax was awarded in the Wealth Management Technology categories.

Aixigo
Founded in 2019, Aixigo has the world’s fastest API-based wealth management platform for investment advisory, portfolio management, portfolio risk management, portfolio analysis and portfolio monitoring. The platform, which is equipped with more than 100 digital services, delivers constant trend-setting and real added value innovations to aixigo’s customers and their savings and investment customers. aixigo’s international customers including Bank Vontobel, BNP Paribas, Commerzbank and Hargreaves Lansdown are already benefiting from the aixigo platform. Aixigo Switzerland was incorporated in 2019 in Zurich. Aixigo was awarded in the Wealth Management Technology categories.
